Why We Pray And Paddle

Since the fall in the garden there has been a need for intercessors - those that stand in the gap, connected to injustice in their land, while being connected to the Fathers heart, bringing heaven down to earth.
We are a movement of prayer, discovering our prayer mats, whether it’s shoes that take us hiking, biking through the heart of cities, or a paddle board, moving along the boundary lines of the coast. This is Joshua 1:3 “Wherever your feet tread I will give you that land as your inheritance.”

Prayer

This sport has only been around for 20 years and offers a new perspective for us to see our land from. A large point of prayer is perspective, seeing things in a new light, the light of God. Being on a paddle board, you gain NEW perspective from standing tall above the water, inviting a new perspective from the Lord. The paddle board is unique from other water crafts in this realm.

Paddles & Adventure

Studies have shown that FUN is a key dynamic for a connected relationship. We pursue having FUN with God in intercession! We are free to have fun knowing that our Father is good, victorious, and powerful! Psalm 2 says, “He who sits in the heavens and laughs…” this shows us that we should be aware of the enemy but not consumed by the enemy, living from a position of victory because we are connected to our Father.

Fun

How it all started

The dream.

In January of 2021 God gave Chad Dedmon a dream where He was prayer paddling with an angel of healing, covering 37 miles from Huntington beach, HB pier to San Clemente. As he was finishing his paddle, he saw a cloud of God's presence go over California, then America, then to distant nations. He knew that this was an invitation to intercede over his home state and the world with a promise of God's presence to follow. What dream do you have from God to declare over your region?

Catch The Wave Impact

Nicko

“Honestly this is probably the most powerful prayer paddle I’ve ever had….I went under the bridge and I bound the spirit of fear and the spirit of suicide. As I was praying with God I felt like He wanted me to release an angel of joy and hope…1,700 people have taken their lives from jumping off this bridge and as I fell off my paddle under the bridge, I just declared fresh baptism and resurrection life under the waters of this bridge.”

Tanner

“I had a dream and in the dream I heard a professor I had at the time preaching on Jesus and intercession. As I was hearing this, I was walking down the coast of California and just got gripped by the Spirit of God in the dream. I was gripped by travail and knew that I needed to go find somewhere to pray. In the dream I went to this dock and at this dock there was a paddle board. I got on my knees on the paddle board and began to pray and weep for California..this was 3 years ago and now I’m here on a prayer paddle!”ere to build trust and win over site visitors."

David

“Seven weeks ago I had brain surgery…I’m happy to be sacrificing and putting myself out there for God, this country and to do something that is beyond me. I’m trusting God and great things are going to happen.”
